In addition, he discusses thoroughly the several transliteration systems of Hebrew and improves the International system.
The author reaches the conclusion that Hebrew script fits the Hebrew language, that Romanization is needed only for the bibliographic use of Western libraries and that there is a need to return to original Hebrew pronunciation.
The book serves as a helping tool to students of Linguistics and Alphabetology as well as librarians in reading transliterated Hebrew terms and to all those interested in understanding how the main alphabetic scripts: Hebrew, Greek, Latin and Arabic developed. Vissza
