A Picture Book to Remember Her by
Yosemite National Park comprises a huge area of incredibly varied scenery of breathtaking beauty. It was created, principally, when enormous blocks of granite, formed beneath the earth's surface, were buckled and lifted by immense pressure. This was followed by glacial action of a more recent date, which continued nature's handiwork by carving deep valleys and basins, which eventually became lakes.
